Privacy Policy

What information VOGUEPLUS collects, why, how it is protected and the rights you have.

Version 1.0 · Effective 1 October 2026 · Last updated 1 October 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how VOGUEPLUS Educational Consult ("VOGUEPLUS", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use the VOGUEPLUS application and website. We collect only what the service genuinely needs, protect it with access controls, and never sell it.

2. Who We Are

VOGUEPLUS is operated by VOGUEPLUS Educational Consult, a registered business (RC 1463941) providing educational consulting, learning, school-management and education-marketplace services. Our tagline, Quality First, Quality Always, applies to how we treat your data.

3. Scope

This policy covers the VOGUEPLUS app, website, dashboard, marketplace, consulting services and any Pi Network features inside the app. It does not cover third-party websites or services you reach through links, including Pi Network's own apps, which have their own policies.

4. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use VOGUEPLUS, we may collect:

  • Account information: name, email address or phone number, profile photo and short bio you choose to add.
  • Pi identity: your Pi user identifier (UID), Pi username and session information, after Pi Network verifies your sign-in.
  • Learning information: courses you enrol in and learning progress.
  • Requests and messages: consultation requests, enquiries and messages you send to our team.
  • Payment records: references needed to reconcile a Pi payment (see "Pi Payment Information").
  • Files you upload: documents and images you choose to store in your account.
  • Technical information: basic device and browser details, security logs and session data.

5. Information We Do NOT Collect

VOGUEPLUS will never ask for your Pi Wallet passphrase, secret recovery phrase or private keys, and does not store them. Anyone asking for them on behalf of VOGUEPLUS is attempting fraud. Only enter your passphrase in the official Pi Wallet.

We also do not collect bank card numbers, government identity numbers, biometric data, precise location or contact lists, and we do not track you across other websites for advertising.

6. Why We Collect Information

We use information to: create and secure your account; provide courses, consulting and marketplace enquiries; process and verify payments; reply to your messages; protect users against fraud and abuse; meet legal and accounting obligations; and improve the reliability of the service. We do not use your data for unrelated purposes without telling you first.

7. Lawful Basis / Permitted Processing

We process personal information where it is necessary to provide the service you asked for (contract), where we have a legal obligation, where we have a legitimate interest that does not override your rights (such as security and fraud prevention), or where you have given consent, which you may withdraw at any time. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other laws that apply to you.

8. Pi Network Authentication

If you sign in with Pi, the Pi Browser gives our servers a temporary access token. Our server checks that token directly with Pi Network and only then links your Pi UID and username to your VOGUEPLUS account. We never trust an identity sent only from your device. Pi data is used solely to sign you in and connect your payments. VOGUEPLUS is an independent application; Pi Network is not responsible for VOGUEPLUS's own data processing.

9. Pi Payment Information

When you pay with Pi, we record only what is needed to reconcile the payment: our internal payment reference, the Pi payment identifier, the blockchain transaction identifier, amount, status, the fee, order or service it relates to, and timestamps. A payment is shown as completed only after our server confirms it with Pi Network. VOGUEPLUS will never ask for your Pi Wallet passphrase, secret recovery phrase or private keys, and does not store them. Anyone asking for them on behalf of VOGUEPLUS is attempting fraud. Only enter your passphrase in the official Pi Wallet.

10. Student Information

For students we may hold name, student identifier, programme or class, enrolled courses and, where a school uses VOGUEPLUS for this, attendance, assessments and results. Student records are private and visible only to the student and authorised staff.

11. Parent/Guardian Information

Parents and guardians may provide their name, relationship to a student and contact details. A parent or guardian can only see records of students they are verifiably linked to.

12. Teacher Information

For teachers we may hold name, professional profile and assigned subjects or classes, and the educational records they need to teach.

13. Consultant Information

Educational consultants may provide name, professional background and areas of competence so learners can choose appropriate support.

14. Merchant Information

Merchants may provide business details, product information and, where legitimately required, verification information, together with records of transactions they take part in.

15. Marketplace Information

When you browse or enquire about marketplace items we keep the enquiry and any order, payment and delivery details needed to complete it.

16. Educational Records

Academic information may include enrolment, courses, assignments, attendance, examinations, results, certificates and learning progress. These records are protected by role-based access: a student can never see another student's private records, and staff see only what their role requires.

17. Communication Data

We keep messages, consultation requests and enquiries you send so our team can answer and so you can review the conversation history.

18. Device and Technical Data

We record limited technical data such as browser type, device type, time of access and security events to keep accounts safe and diagnose problems.

19. Cookies and Local Storage

VOGUEPLUS uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your display theme. We do not use advertising cookies. See the Cookie & Storage Notice.

20. File Uploads

Files you upload are stored in a private area linked to your account. Only you and authorised administrators can open them. Do not upload another person's private information without permission.

21. Children's/Minor Data

VOGUEPLUS may serve students who are minors. Their grades, attendance, student IDs, addresses, private contact details and disciplinary records are never shown publicly. Where the law requires it, we obtain authorisation from a parent or guardian before processing a minor's information.

22. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run VOGUEPLUS, with Pi Network to verify sign-ins and payments, with a school or guardian where you are linked to them, or where required by law or to protect users from harm.

23. Service Providers

We use trusted providers for secure hosting, database and file storage, sign-in services (including Google, Microsoft and SMS verification) and Pi Network services. They may process data only on our instructions and must protect it.

24. Data Security

We use encrypted connections, role-based access rules enforced on our servers, private file storage, server-side payment verification and encrypted administrator backups. Secret keys, including our Pi API key, stay on the server and are never sent to your device. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in methods private.

25. Data Retention

We keep personal information while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the service. Payment and accounting records may be kept longer where the law requires. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

26. International Transfers

Our service providers may store data outside your country. Where this happens we rely on providers with appropriate safeguards and handle the data according to this policy.

27. User Privacy Rights

Where applicable law allows, you may ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal information, withdraw consent, close your account, or receive information about how we process it. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or your local regulator.

28. Access / Correction Requests

You can correct most profile details yourself in Profile & Settings. For anything else, submit a privacy request; we aim to respond within 30 days.

29. Deletion Requests

You can request deletion of your account and personal information through a privacy request. Some records, such as completed payment records, may need to be kept for legal reasons; we will tell you if so.

30. Account Closure

When your account is closed we remove your profile and stored files, end your sessions and keep only the records we are legally required to retain.

31. Data Breach Response

If a security incident affects your personal information, we will investigate promptly, take steps to contain it, and notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires.

32. Changes to Privacy Policy

When we change this policy we publish a new version with a new effective date. Earlier consent records are preserved, and if a change is significant we will ask you to review and accept the new version.

33. Contact Information

Send legal or privacy questions through the Legal contact page, submit a formal privacy request, or message the team from Messages in your dashboard. Postal and registered-office correspondence should be addressed to VOGUEPLUS Educational Consult, RC 1463941.
